J.HILL's Standard at the Salone-Milan April 11th to 15th 2015.

Nilufar Gallery will open its new showroom with a great private event: a dinner inside the 1500sq.m. of the store housing the great collection of historical and contemporary design assembled by gallery-owner Nina Yashar in 30 years of activity. More than 140 guests will dine in a unique atmosphere due to the strong contrast of the architectural project by Massimiliano Locatelli-CLS Architetti: 3 floors of metal frames inspired by the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, housing novelties and the great classics of the gallery. The room is articulated by wings and curtains, as in a theatre, starting from the central stage and the imposing, 6 metre long brass work by artist Leonor Antunes.

Dinner will be served in the wide central hallway furnished with author's tables and chairs, ever differing one from the other. The menu, created by Martino Gamper with Corrado Calza Food & Co, is a progression of dishes with Mediterranean tastes and Middle Eastern conviviality, served in Richard Ginori's chinaware from the Thirties and matched with 19th century napkins A 2006 Grand Vintage, one of the best proposals in the rich Moet & Chandon range, will be poured in precious glasses made of 'Cuttings' crystal by J. HILL's Standard, designed by Martino Gamper.
